Braintronics® with Body & Mind syncSystem

Massage is a centuries-old tradition of regenerating the body and increasing performance. The technology of the Body & Mind syncSystem massage programs ensures a sensitive back massage. It can initiate the gentle regeneration of undersupplied intervertebral discs, release mental and physical blockages and have a positive effect on the entire musculoskeletal system. The human body is exposed to many unnatural strains and bad postures in the modern world. Long standing or sitting, heavy physical work, activities with a bent back in combination with psychological stress at work or in the private environment take their toll.

Entrainment is a principle of physics. It defines the synchronization of two or more rhythm cycles. The principles of entrainment appear in chemistry, neurology, biology, pharmacology, medicine, astronomy and other areas.

The origin of this “theory” can be found in 1656, during the creation of the pendulum clock; The Dutch scientist Christian Huygens found that 2 unsynchronized, back-to-back pendulum clocks synchronize themselves with time. This independent synchronization was so precise that no mechanical calibration could do this more precisely.

Brainwave entrainment affects the electrical reactions of the brain, reacting to rhythmic and / or sensory stimulation, such as impulses of sound and light.

When the brain is exposed to a stimulus, such as a sound pattern through the ears, light impulses through the eyes, or other senses, it responds to that stimulus with a response, called a cortical evoked response (see below). These electrical impulses are measurable everywhere in the brain and at the same time always a reaction to what we see and hear. This activity in the brain can be measured by sensitive electrodes attached to the scalp.

EEG measurements show that the brain is made to approach certain frequencies. The process of approximating the prevailing brain wave frequency to the external frequency is called entrainment.

The consequences are back pain, a tight shoulder / neck area, headache and restricted movement. Around 70% of 30- to 60-year-olds suffer from the “common illness” back pain, whereby half of those affected see a connection with their professional activity. Of course, chronic back pain can also be attributed to wear and tear, injuries, illnesses or inflammation. The Body & Mind syncSystem encourages relaxation, supports the relaxation of tense muscles and can release blockages. As a unit, the “body” in Body & Mind syncSystem can have a positive effect on the entire musculoskeletal system.

The brain is our control center

Brain waves can express a lot about a person. Researchers have found that brain waves not only represent the general state of mind, but can also be stimulated to change a person’s mental state.

This can be a huge help in treating mental health problems. By observing brain wave patterns, an increased abundance of beta waves has been found in, for example, fearful people. People with ADD / ADHD, on the other hand, tend to produce an abundance of slow alpha / theta brain waves. Every thought, impression and phase during the day creates impulses in different frequencies in the brain. In general, science distinguishes four frequency ranges: BETA, ALPHA, THETA and DELTA.

1

ALPHA waves The best known is the area of the alpha brain waves, which appear in the conscious but deeply relaxed state. Alpha is a kind of intermediate stage in the sleep and waking state with the frequency range 7-14 Hz. You are calm and relaxed without sleeping and feel deeply relaxed. In addition, the subconscious mind is very receptive to learning content – the optimal state for super learning.

3 1

THETA waves In this frequency range, 3-7 Hz, you are even more relaxed than in Alpha. Theta brain waves occur during light sleep phases or during meditation. Here suggestions go directly into the subconscious, so it is not advisable, for example, to fall asleep in front of the television. The “guardians” of consciousness are switched off and all contents of the program, including the negative ones, penetrate directly into the subconscious.

2 1

BETA waves  Beta brain waves can be found in the frequency range 14 – 30 Hz. A characteristic of this area is the state of high concentration and mental activity. We are in this state most of the day, we are wide awake, focused, thinking and working.

4 1

DELTA waves  The delta brain waves are in the lower frequency range 0.5-3 Hz, which represents the unconscious area of the brain waves. The Delta brain waves mainly occur in the dreamless deep sleep phase. They are of great importance for the proper functioning of the immune system, and valuable growth hormones are also frequently released.

Frequency-Follow-Response

In the 1950s Robert A. Monroe became interested in the relationship between sound patterns and brain waves. Monroe’s discovery, based on preliminary work by others, allowed pulsating sounds that cause an electrical frequency response (FFR) in the brain to be used as a tool. FFR and headphones made it possible to lead people into different brain states (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta).

In May 1975 Robert A. Monroe received a general patent for his invention. During a brainwave entrainment you can hear certain impulses of sounds. In the course of the stimulation, the frequency rate of these impulses is slowly changed, which also changes the brain wave pattern (FFR) and this leads to a different mental state depending on the frequency.

The same concept can be applied to many other mental states, including concentration, relaxation, and meditation. braintronics® audio stimulation of the brain waves usually begin in the lower beta frequency ranges. For smooth synchronization, the system steers slowly into the upper and then into the lower alpha frequencies. For regeneration and deep relaxation, theta and delta waves are used during audio stimulation.

The ultimate goal of braintronics® is the idea of effectively synchronizing brain waves into a desired brain wave state. No matter whether you want to relax, dream or learn, everything is possible. Our brain takes time to learn. The synapses and ramifications take an average of 3 weeks to form new connections.

Experimental study on the effectiveness of the braintronics® relaxation system

At the Technical University of Munich, an experimental study on the effectiveness of the braintronics® relaxation system was carried out as part of a bachelor’s thesis. Participants with an average age of 43 years were selected for this study. For this study, the subjects went through the braintronics® program twice a week over a period of 12 weeks. We at Casada would like to make the study available for download.

Where does stress come from?

Stress is an instinctive and innate response to a potential threat, such as encountering a predator at the source or other life-threatening situations. It ensures survival and promotes the automatic defense mechanism, which is also known as a “fight or flight response”.

The sympathetic nervous system responds to the danger from the release of hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, increases heart rate and blood pressure, increases performance and endurance and generally improves physical abilities. We generally perceive this as a stress reaction.

Nowadays the danger of a predator attack is rather unlikely. Nevertheless, the natural fight-or-flight response remains part of human nature. It is not only life-threatening events that cause this reaction. This can also be triggered by financial or professional worries, relationships, children, time pressure, traffic, nutrition or much more.

Not only acute stressful situations can endanger physical health. The greatest health risk is permanent stress . When our bodies are constantly preparing for battle, they focus all energies on survival. The longer the stress lasts or the more frequently it occurs, the more the alarm system overreacts and brings body and mind out of balance . Only most people don’t have the time or the means to regulate their stress levels. In addition, bad habits such as smoking, an unhealthy diet, and lack of sleep and physical activity make it difficult.

A study, led by Sheldon Cohen (Carnegie Mellon University), that explores the link between stress and illness has shown that the body’s ability to treat infections is affected by chronic stress . The permanent release of stress hormones unbalances the entire system. According to Cohen, it is specifically the constant release of cortisol that is the main risk. One of the most important tasks of cortisol is to counter infections.

However, when the immune system is continuously exposed to cortisol, the body becomes desensitized and becomes resistant (glucocorticoid resistance). Cohen explains: “The ability of the immune system to regulate infections predicts the development of a cold, but more importantly, it provides evidence of how stress promotes physical ailments. Under stress, the immune system is unable to respond to hormonal commands and consequently creates infections that promote illness.

For most people, job and constant availability are stress factors number one. However, work-related stress results from the increased “focus on profitability”. Unfortunately, more work doesn’t always mean more wages.

Neuroscientist Bruce McEwen (Rockefeller University New York) said: “It is difficult for us to take breaks. Many of us can no longer avert the stress response. It has already changed our way of life. “It is hardly possible to avoid stress at work. Many of those affected do not know how to counteract the build-up of tension. According to the American Institute of Stress, half of stressed workers need help coping with stress. The higher the pressure, the more difficult it is to escape the stress. It was also found that higher wages and education are directly linked to higher burdens.

Stressed employees are not only unhealthy, but also – and of great importance to the employer – less secure and unmotivated at work. This fact weakens the competitiveness of a company and reduces productivity as a whole.

Mark Salisbury, Human Capital Management: “Your employees secure a competitive advantage. A strong and effective workforce is critical to the survival of any type of company. ”

Stress not only affects the healing process, but is also responsible for chronic inflammation . Doctors believe that 50 to 90% of all complaints are the result of everyday stress.

“The fact is that chronic stress the emergence of mental illness favors . It is therefore crucial to take the first alarm signals such as sleep disorders , pain or irritability seriously and to take countermeasures ” – Dr. Hans-Peter Unger.

The symptoms and illnesses that occur as a result of long-term increased stress hormones are very diverse, harmful to every body and should not be underestimated. Among others, these are:

  • Increased sensitivity to pain
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Headache and neck pain
  • Erection problems
  • Burnout and depression
  • Allergies
  • sleep disorders
  • Tinnitus
  • Irritable bowel
  • Stomach and intestinal diseases
  • dementia
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Chronic fatigue

Who does not know that: too much work and too little time. The stack of files is growing inexorably, the customer is asking for the offer for the third time and the to-do list is simply not getting any shorter. Even after work, read and answer customer emails, coordinate appointments and enter them in the calendar and much more.

Employers and employees are increasingly reaching physical and psychological limits. How could it be different if, for example, constant accessibility is the number 1 stress factor in Germany? Stressed superiors and employees are not only unhealthy in the truest sense of the word, but often also unsafe and less motivated in their work. Unfortunately, the stress at the end of the day does not simply drop from us. We often take him home, where family life is further strained.

The health and satisfaction of employees and managers has become the decisive competitive factor. An unmotivated workforce, internal dismissal, absenteeism and high turnover are core problems that cannot be ignored. Because only strong, motivated and efficient employees strengthen the competitiveness of companies in which unique features of a product or service take a back seat due to too much competition.

At Casada, we firmly believe that we have developed a concept that can make a difference, especially for small and medium-sized companies. However, we also know that the best ideas are useless if employees do not use or accept them. Steer against it together with your team and employees and invest in the health and satisfaction of your employees through an incredibly relaxing, simple and effective method,
